This Mitsuboshi V-belt’s underside is a cogged shaped belt and has a fabric free side face hence it is called the Raw Edge Cogged (RECMF) drive belt. Mitsuboshi RECMF belt is recommended for drives where compact design is required. A cogged bottom V-belt structure reduces the energy loss caused by bending. As a result, it fits small pulleys and gives stable performance at high speeds. The Cogged design of Mitsuboshi RECMF drive belt provides area for air circulation prevents further heat build-up and provides greater flexibility. Variable spacing of cogs provides improved belt performance by reducing noise and tension decay.

Symptoms for Replacement of Mitsuboshi Raw Edge Cogged V-Belt (RECMF) When you find any of symptoms shown below, replace the belt. It is recommended that you replace idling pulley and/or tensioning pulleys at the same time.
