iwis Roller chains
iwis offer a comprehensive range of roller chains in accordance with DIN and ANSI standards, as well as numerous special chains for a variety of uses. Choose from a wide variety of iwis high-performance roller chain types: e.g. roller chains with straight side plates, roller chains heavy versions, double pitch type, corrosion resistant and maintenace-free chain, stainless steel chains or side bow chains. Besides conventional roller chains of all types and sizes, roller chains with attachments and double pitch roller chains, we also offer special chains such as grip chains, accumulation chains, elastomeric profile chains, leaf chains, bushed conveyor chains, hollow pin chains and many other models. Maintenance-free or corrosion-proof chains are available for special applications. Their pin oven chains and tube conveyor chains enable a wide range of solutions for the efficient production and optimum conveying of cans and tubes. All iwis chains are pre-stretched and are provided with a highly efficient initial lubrication. iwis SL series chains (Super Longlife) have pins with an extremely hard surface. This special design shows outstanding characteristics: Highest wear resistance, a prolonged service life, high breaking and fatigue strength, low susceptibility to deficient operational lubrication, corrosion and frictional corrosion in the chain links.

- Chains are checked for dimensional accuracy: length tolerance, freedom of articulation and assembly component integrity, inspection of the press-in seating of the pin outer links and bush-inner link interfaces.

Conveyor chains are used to transport unit loads and bulk goods. iwis offers a wide range of conveyor chains for a variety of purposes. Bush conveyor chains are often used for conveying tasks involving long distances and relatively low speeds. Rotary chains for heavy-duty applications feature cranked links for greater elasticity and improved cushioning of violent impacts. Most conveyor chains used in industry are not standard versions, and iwis delivers conveyor chains that are custom-built to individual customer specifications. iwis conveyor chains can especially be matched with the demands of customer applications. iwis does not only supply the customer with a wide range of special straight attachments and bent attachment plates, but the Technical Service Team offers solutions for individual customer demands and designs custom-made products. iwis conveyor chains offer the user the benefits of parallel and synchronous running, extremely precise positioning, quiet running and a significantly higher breaking resistance than the norm.
